Since 1962, Phoenix House Mid-Atlantic has served more than 40,000 individuals struggling with substance use disorder and continues to be one of the foremost addiction treatment centers in the region.
Our treatment facilities, located in Virginia, also serve patients from Maryland, Washington, D.C., Delaware, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and across the country.
Our nationally accredited programs provide outstanding residential and outpatient treatment with gender-specific programs available for adults. Our counselors, physicians, and medical staff use a variety of evidenced-based treatments to address a wide range of addiction and co-occurring mental health problems, and our treatment regimen includes medication management and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as appropriate. Our active assessment center provides comprehensive clinical evaluations for substance use disorders and related mental health conditions in order to identify the most appropriate level of treatment for each patient. Family involvement is encouraged in the treatment process, and treatment length for most programs is determined by individual need.
We are passionate about healing individuals, families and communities challenged by substance use disorders and related mental health conditions.
To ensure our patients leave our programs with the skills needed to manage their recovery and rejoin their communities and families, with aspirations and plans for productive, independent lives in recovery. Phoenix House Mid-Atlantic strives to provide programs that are accessible to individuals from all financial backgrounds.
