Option 1: Assessment Center (highly recommended)
An Assessment Center appointment involves an individual coming to our Assessment Center in Arlington, VA and meeting face-to-face with our highly qualified assessment team.
Option 2: Mobile Assessment (highly recommended)
A mobile assessment is scheduled for individuals who live in the Metro D.C., Northern and Central Virginia, and Richmond Metropolitan areas. One of our Mobile Assessors can travel to the location of the individual needing to be assessed to complete the assessment.
Option 3: Phone Assessment (least recommended)
A phone assessment is scheduled for individuals who live outside of the Mobile Assessment radius and/or are hospitalized or in a situation that they cannot travel to the Assessment Center.
what to expect during the assessment process
Please plan for this process to take approximately 90 minutes.
When you arrive for your assessment, you will complete documentation, sign consents, and provide your insurance and identification card. Please bring a list of all your current medications.
A credentialed and/or master's level and/or licensed clinician will complete the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) accredited assessment. At the conclusion, you will be provided with a medically appropriate recommendation.
Assessments are covered by most insurances. If choosing to self-pay, assessments are $200. A member of our finance team will meet with you to discuss financial arrangements for the recommended level of care.
